5 YEARS!

5 years ago today, I LIKE TRAINS played their first ever concert at the Vine in the fair city of Leeds.

The set list was:

1) The End *
2) Go to Sleep
3) Oh! The Humanity
4) You’re Not Human (what are you?)
5) Taking the Day
6) Happy Songs

*(remind us when we come to our last show, to finish with a song called The Beginning!)

Thankfully we didn’t take Sean Flynn’s advice to disband as a group, and we have enjoyed our 5 years as a rock group! According to the very excellent www.thisgreenandpleasantland.com, we have played over 270 gigs in 118 cities and 24 countries! I dread to think how many fluffed notes and forgotten lyrics that equals, but we have made it this far!

It feels like a suitable juncture to thank family, friends, girlfriends, co conspirators (http://www.youtube.com/user/brokenpixel), colleagues and fans for their patience and support over the years. We do appreciate all of you!
