Should be a true footballing occasion....my earliest WC memories are from both 74 and 78 and the Dutch teams were always my favs...many a playground football "knockout-pairs" with me and a-other somehow managing to be the entire Dutch squad...

likewise , except in those days the chaps in orange tended to stay on their feet and not cheat .... but thats only my view.

i'm off on saturday to watch stage 8 on sunday and then , when they've all buggered off , i'm going to do the last cat 1 climb of that day ( a few days later obviously!) . i didn't fancy doing the whole 189k !!!!

i might ask if i can borrow one of those batteries they shove in the pedals though.... and haven't the crashed been spectacular so far?
