Bobby Fischer Against The World
A new film about the chess player and star of Trains songs Bobby Fischer is out nationwide on 2nd August.
Described by Nigel Short (who I was recently told by Brighton's town drunk that I was a dead ringer for my favourite lookalike ever) as
"A compelling story of a sublime chess genius and 20th Century Icon"
Anyone know anything else about it?

Aha! Bobby Fischer against the World.
I am planning to see this movie/doc.
Ah, some story of him in the Guardian. It's a good read:
"chess is not just a game of the mind. It's also the ultimate mind game."
"In Bobby Fischer Against the World, Saidy refers to game six, the most celebrated of the match, as "a symphony of placid beauty"." and then the guy refers to one of my favorite movies continueing with "It's reminiscent of the scene in Amadeus when Salieri describes the aching majesty of Mozart's "Gran Partita" adagio. Salieri's torment was that he was good enough to recognise genius, but not good enough to be one."
:} If only this Fischer movie will be as touching as Amadeus is. I can only hope.
